Thank you for considering how you can support my re-election campaign for City Council.  In 2015 with a field of 16 candidates, I was able to capture one of three four-year terms.  I could not have done it without the help of a host of volunteers.  This year’s race features 12 candidates, and I will again be depending on generous donations of time and money from my constituents to power our re-election campaign.

Successful campaigns are expensive.  I think that will be more true this year than ever.  The lack of a strong hometown newspaper will place more of a burden on candidates to educate voters with their own materials, and a record number of absentee ballots means a lot of printing and postage.  Any amount you are able to contribute toward that effort is greatly appreciated.

My commitment to efficient government would ring hollow if I did not walk the talk with an efficient campaign.  I worked hard four years ago to be responsible, accountable, and strategic in maximizing the impact of your donations.  I am proud to have finished higher than some candidates who outspent me, and I enter this race with that same commitment to be a faithful steward of your campaign dollars.  My team will spend what is needed to win, but we will not waste the donations with which we have been entrusted.

And once re-elected, I will extend that same focus to preserving Livonia’s tradition of excellent services and low taxes.  Your donations fund successful campaigns, and your tax dollars fund successful government.  I pray that I can continue to serve in a manner worthy of the trust you have placed in me.

Yard signs help boost name recognition, and when people see one in the yard of someone they know, it increases their likelihood of voting for that candidate.  Give us your contact information, and we will bring one to you.
